IMPORTANT FIRE PREVENTION INFORMATION

Do Not
  • Use candles, lighters, or naked flames.
  • Cook whilst under the influence of alcohol or medication.
  • Bring your own cooking equipment (such as chip pan fryers, air fryers or any electrically heated equipment).
  • Leave the kitchen whilst the gas hob is in use (if hob in property is Gas).
  • Bring portable electric heaters into the property.
  • Use open fires.
  • Place toasters close to anything that could catch fire.
  • Smoke on or within the premises.
  • Store large quantities of flammable materials in the premises.
  • Use appliances before consulting their respective instruction manual(s).
  • Leave irons, straightening tongs or heated appliances unattended whilst in use.
  • Leave the house whilst electrical appliances are operating (excluding fridge-freezer, boiler and hot water system).
  • Remove the keys for any of the exits from the locks whilst inside the property.
  • Leave appliances continuously on-charge after the charging cycle is complete, including mobile phones.
  • Put metal objects in the microwave.
  • Overload extension plugs.
  • Daisy-chain extension plugs together.
  • Cover charging equipment or electrical devices, e.g. laptop power lead in bed.
